4-wheel trailers
Open trailers series 201-210 (291-300)
The 201-208 were
converted horse-trams, the 209-210 new built in 1905 by the
workshops of the RETM. Renumbered in 1920 into 291-300 they
went out of service in 1931. The 296 did survive as museum
horse tramcar 188. Length 6.03 m, weight 2.9 tons.
Open trailers series 211-240 (261-290)
In 1907 Ragheno delivered 30 cross-bench open trailers with
seating capacity for 26 and standing for 15. This series
211-240 was renumbered in 1920 into 261-290.
Twelve were made suitable (with the numbers increased by
1000) to work behind the new bogie tramcars of 1929/31 and
worked during the summer months until 1940, the others
already went aside ten years before. The 284 survives as
museum tram. Length 7.85 m, weight 4.1 tons.
Closed trailers series 301-350
Around 1906-07 the RETM made
suitable 50 closed horse cars for working as trailers. They
were numbered 301-350. Seating was on longitudinal benches
for 14-16. Most had three windows at each side, but six
trailers did have four. Length 5.96 m, weight 3.4 tons.
Closed trailers series 351-406
In 1911 Allan did
built two (351-352) new trailers. Their success gave reason
for eight more (353-360) already in 1912. While these cars
had three large windows at each side, the series 361-366
(Weyer, 1915), 367-387 (Allan, 1917-18) and 387-406 (Allan,
1921) did have four. All these trailers had seating for 18
and standing for 24. Later they were renumbered by adding
1000. They were used until about 1950. The 1355 did survive
and is now museum car.
- Series 351-360: length 9.50 m, weight 7.8 tons.
- Series 361-366: length 9.30 m, weight 7.2 tons.
- Series 367-406: length 9.21 m, weight 7.2 tons.
Except for the trailers mentioned above, also motorcars of
the series 127-151 and 152-201 were converted into
