| | First electric tramsSeries 1-20 The
first 20 electric tramcars which came into use in 1905 were
built by Métallurgique. This series did have open
platforms and two very large windows at each side. Already
in 1908 the platforms were closed, in 1922 the large windows
were replaced by six small windows at each side. The 1-10
seated 20 persons on longitudinal benches, the 11-20 had 19
transverse configurated seats. Around 1931 these cars went out of service, but two were reconstructed in their original form again. With the numbers 1 & 11 respectively, they represent both sub-series. But from some minor details it is known that the current 11 original was one of the series 16-20.
